SWE has been running shows in the north east of scotland since 2003 and regulary pull crowds in Aberdeen, Dundee (7 Venues), Blairgowrie, Montrose, Alyth, Perth and many more locations. SWE also provides Excellent training to get you the first rung of the pro wrestling ladder.

SWE in the Community:

Scottish Wrestling Entertainment are not just a Professional Wrestling Promotion they also take part in Community Outreach and various charitable events.

Every year Blairgowrie has its own event called Braemar Day, Its usually the first Saturday in September for the past 2 years SWE have provided free entertanment all day for all the families who are in attendance. SWE Wrestlers are also asked to take part in this parade from The Royal British Legion to the Wellmeadow. In 2009 SWE Legend Bravehart led one of the parades from Rattray to The Wellmeadow.

2010 seen SWE perform at their first Highland Games, The first time a professional wrestling promotion has been at Blairgowrie Highland games in 30 years. At this event SWE were asked to be the standard bearer for the opening parade held in front of 5000 people.

In the past SWE have been honoured to perform for The local Nursing Homes, for the elderly in the community not able to get to local venues. SWE have also performed on numerous occasions for the adults and service users at the ARC, Adult Resource Centre. The ARC is run by local authorities and helps vulnerable adults to carry out daily living tasks with specially trained carers and social workers.

In 2010 SWE & Hartland Wrestling Club donated a sum of money towards a young boy with Cerebral Palsy to get specialised surgery in the USA to give him new legs, so that he may walk again.

 

Princes Royal Trust in Scotland & Perth Young Carers Project:

SWE & Hartland Wrestling Club work closely with the Young Carers Project in Perth, On 3 occasions the PYC have visited The Hartland Gym. With guidance and Instruction these kids learned some basic wrestling moves, management of agression techniques and some lessons in self-worth.
